    Formed in 1877 Wolverhampton Wanders are among the founder members of the Football League.

    In 1889 the club moved to Molineux, and they have been playing at the same ground ever since. Their record attendance was 61,315 against Liverpool in 1939.

    The four-time FA Cup winners have been crowned champions of England on three occasions – all in the 1950’s.Steve Bull MBE is one of the club’s most popular ever players, starring for them between 1986 and 1999, scoring 306 goals.

    The Molineux hero netted an incredible 18 hat-tricks for the club during his time with the Black Country giants.

    While playing outside the top flight, ‘Bully’ earned 13 caps for England between 1989 and 1990, scoring four times for his country.

    In 1987-88, Bull broke the club’s record for competitive goals scored in a single season, bagging a total of 52.

    The Wolves legend has a stand named after him at Molineux, and was awarded an MBE for his services to football in 1999.
