Freddie Ljungberg started his professional career at Swedish club Halmstad in 1994, aged just 17. Freddie made 139 appearances and scored 16 goals for the club, helping them win the Svenska Cupen.
Despite interest from Barcelona, Chelsea and Parma; he signed for Arsenal in 1998 for £3 million.
Freddie spent 9 seasons at Arsenal, firmly become a fan favourite at Highbury.
In 2003-04 the Swedish star made 30 league appearances during Arsenal's unbeaten Invincibles season. Freddie also scored the winning goal against rivals Tottenham Hotspur to secure the title in the same season.
Ljungberg won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with The Gunners.
Ljungberg scored in two finals for Arsenal, including the FA Cup victory in 2002.
